ResearchThe Society holds a large and significant collection of Documents and Photographs relating to Port Macquarie and the Hastings Region. Other research materials include: § Convict Records from 1821 § Births, Deaths and Marriages in NSW § Local Family Histories § Colonial Secretary’s Letters § Local Newspapers § Maps and Land Grants § Shipping Records § Aboriginal Records § Cemetery and Crematorium Records Our research facilities are not currently open to the public. Our researcher volunteers can conduct research on your behalf for a small fee. To enquire about our research service, please complete the Research Request Form and email, fax or post back to us.
